Welcome to the online home of the Beaver Bank Kinsac Volunteer Fire Department, our designation under HRM Fire is Station # 48. Our Fire Department is 100% Volunteer and we are proud to serve the community of Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia.

Our Fire Department

On Saturday, August 28, 2004, residents proudly took part in the Grand Opening of their new Fire Station in Beaver Bank - Kinsac (Station #48).  Mayor Peter Kelly, Chief Director Michael Eddy, Councilor Brad Johns and Chief Gord West participated in the ribbon cutting, plaque unveiling, tree planting and cake cutting.  There were fire prevention displays, a vehicle extrication demonstration, antique vehicles and lots of food.
